This past month, IYT at Park Center High School celebrated the successful conclusion of its inaugural year with a vibrant celebration where brothers shared memories and reflected on the strong foundation they've built. The year was marked by unique learning opportunities, like a workshop with local entrepreneur Damarcus, who provided haircuts and invaluable business insights. This spirit of growth was personified by our student leaders, as we honored Amadou Toure for his remarkable academic turnaround and making the honor roll, and celebrated Damar’e as Brother of the Month for his inspiring transformation into a leader and A/B honor roll student.

This month, we were thrilled to host a unique and inspiring workshop led by Damarcus, a respected local entrepreneur and professional barber. Damarcus generously offered his time and talent to give our IYT brothers fresh, confidence-boosting haircuts. But the experience went far beyond the barber's chair. As he worked, Damarcus shared his powerful journey, offering invaluable insights into the world of entrepreneurship, the dedication required to build a business, and the importance of financial independence. Our brothers left not only looking sharp but also feeling inspired and equipped with real-world knowledge about forging their own paths.
